West Indies vs India, 4th T20I Predicted XI: Will Umran Malik replace Mukesh Kumar?

After registering a seven-wicket win in Guyana, India is all set to take on the West Indies in the fourth T20I of the five-match series at Central Broward Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.

India will be looking to level the five-match T20I series, while the West Indies will be aiming to win a bilateral series of three or more games against India in any format for the first time in 17 years.

India could stick to their winning formula in the third T20I and field an unchanged starting XI in Florida, though they might be tempted to tweak a few positions and give a run in to some of the players who haven’t got a chance in the T20I series.

India handed left-handed opener Yashasvi Jaiswal his T20I debut in the third game of the series, and despite his underwhelming performance, he will be expected to open India’s batting alongside the mercurial talent, that is Shubman Gill.

Suryakumar Yadav, the in-form Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson will make up India’s middle order, with skipper Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel coming in as the two all-rounders.

Kuldeep Yadav was impressive on his return in the third T20I after missing the second match of the series due to injury. He will be expected to keep his place alongside India’s all-time leading wicket-taker in the shortest format, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Arshdeep Singh has claimed three wickets and the first three matches and will hold on to his spot. However, the team management could be thinking of giving express pacer Umran Malik a run-in in the fourth T20I instead of Mukesh Kumar, who has picked two wickets in the first three games of the series.

As for the West Indies, Jason Holder is expected to be fit and make his return to the starting XI. The fast-bowling all-rounder was crucial in the opening match of the series and even won the Player of the Match award. Roston Chase came in for the former West Indies skipper and could make way for Holder in Florida.
