One of the gems of the Punjabi music industry has left the mortal world, leaving everyone in a state of great pain. We are talking about the legendary Punjabi singer Surinder Shinda, who breathed his last on July 26, 2023, at the age of 64.

The veteran singer had not been keeping well for a while. He was admitted to the DMC hospital in Ludhiana, where he lost his battle to life.

Maninder Shinda, the son of the late actor, a few days back shared that Surinder was hospitalised for undisclosed health reasons. The news went viral on the internet, leading to rumours of Surinder being on the ventilator. However, crushing those rumours, Maninder in his Facebook live session gave some details about his father’s health. He confirmed that Surinder Shinda was not on the ventilator and was recovering. However, 20 days after being hospitalised, Surinder Shinda passed away this morning.
Surinder Shinda was regarded as one of the assets of the Punjabi music scene. His songs like ‘Jatt Jeona Morh,’ ‘Truck Billiya,’ ‘Kaher Singh Di Mout’ are counted among the Punjabi classics. His demise is a shock for everyone.
