Sidhu Moose Wala murder case: Accused stayed at UP farmhouse, received weapons training, says father | Chandigarh News – Times of India

BATHINDA: Upset over the emergence of new photographs depicting the accused individuals tied to the murder of his son, originating from Uttar Pradesh and displaying religious affiliations, Balkaur Singh, the father of the slain rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, suspects a concealed plot behind these images.
He perceives a potential collaboration between those responsible for his son’s killing and unknown forces leveraging religion for their advantage. The utilization of images from a religious setting raises his suspicions regarding ulterior motives. Despite this, he maintains his trust in the Judiciary and the National Investigations Agency.
Balkaur Singh, speaking to TOI, remarked that the appearance of the accused individuals’ photographs suggests their attempt to exploit religion, though he asserts that religion does not protect criminals and criminals lack any religious identity. He places greater faith in a higher power, believing that justice will prevail. However, he finds the current circumstances unusual.
Singh noted that reports of the accused staying at a UP farmhouse and receiving weapons training hint at widespread support for them.
The photographs of various accused individuals linked to Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder surfaced in Ayodhya and Lucknow on Friday. These images depict the accused holding weapons or standing at religious locations.
Earlier, in an interview, the mastermind behind the murder, Lawrance Bishnoi, referred to religion by labeling himself a “Gau Bhagat” who aimed to operate a gaushala (cow shelter). Balkaur Singh insists that the NIA should thoroughly investigate all aspects.
He added that his son had no affiliations with gangsters. While Sidhu Moose Wala was gaining recognition in the music industry, he might have garnered rivals in that field. However, he senses that new dimensions are being introduced into the case.
