Shinde unwell, says Sena MLA; CMO denies it | India News – Times of India

CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR/MUMBAI: Shiv Sena’s Aurangabad West MLA Sanjay Shirsat on Saturday claimed CM Eknath Shinde was “extremely unwell” and had gone to Dare, his native village in Satara, for rest, reports Mohammed Akhef. “After August 15, we will forcefully get him admitted in hospital,” Shirsat, a staunch Shinde loyalist, told reporters.

However, a CMO official denied Shirsat’s statement. The official said Shinde had a condition of low blood pressure but he had been taking adequate care, precaution and treatment and there was no cause for concern. “The entire state knows that our CM works 24×7. But we are close to him and so we know how unwell he is. You cannot even imagine. It is essential to take care of his health,” Shirsat said.
Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, speaking at a function in Pune Saturday, said Shinde was unwell and hence could not attend the event. Shinde has gone to his native place in Satara to take rest, Ajit Pawar added.
