Ranveer Singh on best compliment

Ranveer was asked, “Best compliment you got for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and from whom?” To which Ranveer replied, “Many! There’s been such an immense outpouring of love for Rocky. I am overwhelmed… lamble lambe love letters mil rahe hain (I am receiving long love letters). I am so grateful (face holding back tears emoji).”

Ranveer Singh took to Instagram Stories and answered some fan questions about the film and his character Rocky Randhawa.

Ranveer says it was difficult doing kathak

Ranveer’s dance to the Devdas song Dola Re Dola with Tota Roy Choudhary is one of the highlights of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Tota plays Alia Bhatt’s father Chandon Chatterjee in the film. Ranveer was asked about doing kathak during the Durga Puja sequence with Tota’s character, who is a kathak dancer.

A person asked Ranveer, “Your kathak in the film was surprising. How much time did you take to learn?” The actor responded with, “It took about a month. It was difficult to imbibe the essential grace in the dance form, given all the muscle mass that I was packing at the time!”

A fan also asked Ranveer about a scene from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani that was closest to his heart and why. The actor then said, “Mmmmm. The monologue (heart emoji). The way people have connected with it is rare and special.” Ranveer spoke about how we cancel each other all the time in the scene with Alia’s family in the film.
