CHANDIGARH: Several people were injured after violent clashes erupted between two communities during Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP)’s rally in Haryana’s Mewat region on Monday.
Stones were pelted at VHP’s convoy. The rally was being taken out in Nuh.
During the Shobha Yatra, a tumultuous scene unfolded with intense stone pelting. The presence of Monu Manesar, a self-confessed cow protector, who is a suspect in the Nasir-Junaid murder case, sparked anger among the other community members.
