Kruttika Desai and Ananya Khare bury past issues and work together again in Pandya Store – Times of India

TV show Pandya Store has taken a 20-year leap and the new cast includes senior actress Ananya Khare who is playing the role of Rohit Chandel’s mother in the show. After almost 8 years, the actress is getting together with Kruttika Desai on TV. The two acted together in Mere Angne Mein earlier when they had problems.

There were rumours of how the two actresses, who played mother and daughter there, didn’t get along but kept it professional.
But things have changed now. Ananya says, “Too much water has flown under the bridge… this is an old story now. I don’t even remember how issues started between us and I feel maybe it was a case of chinese whisper. It is 8 years now and what happened in the past remains in the past. We are working together again after a long time and I am focussing on my role in Pandya Store. I look forward to this stint. It is also the same production house that made Mere Angne Mein.”

Kruttika Desai plays grandmother to the lead actress, Priyanshi Yadav. Kruttika says, “When Ananya’s name came up among the shortlisted actresses for the role of the lead actor’s mother, I was the first one to say that she will suit the role very well. We worked in Mere Angne Mein many years ago and it is an old story. I don’t dwell on the past. I always focus on my work and now it is too much a thing of the past to talk about.”
