Karisma Kapoor Enjoys An Amazing Feast At Indian Accent In Mumbai

After Delhi and New York, Manish Mehrotra’s Indian Accent, one of the country’s most iconic restaurants, has finally arrived in Mumbai. Just before opening its doors to the public, the restaurant allowed a few selected celebrities to sample some of their most popular foods. Karisma Kapoor was one of the fortunate ones. The actress shared a collage on her Instagram Stories that has left us hungry. The glimpses of her fancy and exquisite meal were nothing less than a visual feast. The first item on the table was a chaat that was truly one-of-a-kind. We could spot chole bhature with pickled green chilli peppers. This platter had a generous spread of corn that was served with bowls of pickles and chickpeas. It looked like a tantalising treasure trove of flavours. Next up, there was another chaat: the ‘smoked eggplant maple plantain.’ Here, slices of cooked eggplant were garnished with a symphony of delightful toppings, making it a feast for the eyes.

But the journey didn’t end there. Anar and churn kulfi, served in a miniature pressure cooker, added a sweet touch to Karisma’s dining experience. The culinary parade continued with pulled lamb dumplings served in a luscious white gravy. Last but definitely not least, there was the ultimate daulat ki chaat. Its presentation was a masterpiece in itself. The meal featured not-so-real Rs 500 notes playfully peeking out from the bowl.
