Gadar 2 Full Movie Collection: Gadar 2 box office collection first week: Sunny Deol starrer mints Rs 283 crore, to cross Rs 300 crore soon! | – Times of India
On Thursday, the film added Rs 22 crore to its total, taking its first week business to Rs 283.35 crore, reported Sacnilk. It remains to be seen if the euphoria of ‘Gadar 2’ will be able to beat the collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’, whose lifetime business is over Rs 500 crore.
At the box office, ‘Gadar 2’ clashed withAkshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam starrer ‘OMG 2’. At the end of its first week at the box office, ‘OMG 2’ stands at a total of Rs 84.72 crore.
Speaking about the huge success of the film, Sunny Deol had shared, “I am indeed very happy. When we did the second part of Gadar, we never knew it would be so loved by the audience. Two whole generations have gone by since we did the first Gadar. And still, people are as excited as they were the first time. I am amazed and very very happy. We need some hits to keep the film industry on its feet.”
Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2’ also stars Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, Rakesh Bedi and Dolly Bindra.
