Exclusive – Shoaib Ibrahim on Ajooni completing 300 episodes: I feel blessed and it is only because of the audiences love we have been able to come so far – Times of India
Expressing his excitement, he said, “I feel really blessed and it is because of the audience love and appreciation that we have been able to reach so far.
We have now completed yet another milestone of 300 episodes and it would have been never possible without audiences love. Our job is to work hard but we are nothing without our viewers appreciation. They have been watching our show and that is the reason we have been able to reach one milestone after another.”
Shoaib further talked about how the bonding between the show’s team is great and they have become like a family, “
“We are like a family on the sets. It is the entire team work. Be it the production, direction team or the actors, each one of us spend the maximum amount of time on the sets. We just go back home after spending the entire day here. We go back home, have dinner, sleep and then next day we are back. So most of our time goes on the sets. We all have formed a bond after working each other for so long. This bond helps us to function smoothly,” shared the actor.
Talking about working with a senior actor like Pankaj Dheer again after Sasural Simar Ka, Shoaib says, “I’m having a great time working with Pankaj Dheer ji here. He keeps telling me I remember when you were part of Simar, you were a very shy kid but now when I look at you I feel proud. I learn a lot while working with him. From his life experiences to work experiences, I get to learn a lot. Whenever I go wrong he helps me or when I have a doubt I take his help.”
Shoaib and his on-screen co-star’s chemistry is loved by the audience. Ayushi, who plays the role of Ajooni, has always credited and praised the former for helping her during the scenes and guided her, Shoaib shared, “Working with Ayushi has been great. You must have heard from her how she used to be scared of me initially. I don’t know why, maybe because I am a little reserved in the beginning and take time to gel up. As far as she giving me credit of helping her during the initial days, I try to help her as my seniors have helped me in my journey. But at the end of the days it is upon an individual how open they are about suggestions. There are people who get offend when we give suggestions but she is always open to them. She take it sportingly and she has come a long way from her first episode till now, she has become very confident.”
