Devoleena Bhattacharjee reacts to Sudha Murty’s eating habits when she is travelling – Times of India

Indian educator and philanthropist Sudha Murty had recently made many revelations on The Kapil Sharma Show. She recently opened up about her food choices in a food talk show.

Here, she delved upon her eating habits while travelling and it’s has gained much attention on social media. Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, took to Twitter recently, to appreciated Sudha Murty’s eating choices too.

In the video, Sudha Murty shares that the thought of using same spoon for veg and non-veg food, made her a bit aware. She further added how she takes care of her food when travelling abroad or outside. She said, “When I am travelling, I am adventurous in work but not with food. I feel scared. I am a pure vegetarian. I don’t eat egg or garlic. Outside, they use same spoon for veg and non-veg food and that’s a bit of upsetting. When I go outside, I only look for veg restaurants or I always carry a bag full of eating materials. I carry 25-30 chapatis. I prepare ready to eat poha and sooji, so that I can only add warm water and eat it. I have a cooking bag and a small cooker. My nani used to travel like that 60-70 years back. That time, I used to make fun of her for carrying food everywhere. Now I behave like her. I travel to any country, I carry my food.”

While some appreciated her, several criticised her, Devoleena called out the negativity and wrote, “I love Sudha Murty ji & have immense respect for her. The least i can expect from those twitter bullies not to spread their toxicity everywhere just because they are cursed to live one. Hypocrites.” She further added, “It goes for everyone. Har jagah har kisi k saath hota hai. Kuch hai stupids jo har jagah apni toxic life ki negativity lekar pohoch jaate hai. I cant believe nuts are talking about sudha murthy. God bless her with long & healthy life & keep her away from the demonic people & surrounding.”
Sudha Murty is an Indian educator, author and Padma Shri awardee.
