Ashok Gehlot: Real loot is in sale of red tomatoes, cylinders | Jaipur News – Times of India

JAIPUR: The people of Rajasthan will soon “show a red flag to BJP”, CM Ashok Gehlot said while taking a jibe at PM Modi, urging him to focus on soaring prices of essential commodities like “red tomatoes and red cylinders”.

“The real loot is being done by the PM in the sale of red cylinders (LPG) for Rs 1,150 each and red tomatoes for Rs 150 a kg,” he said, swiping at PM Modi’s remarks about the red diary mentioned by sacked Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha as a “fresh product of the Loot ki Dukan of Congress”.
Gudha had claimed that he possessed photos from a “red diary” containing potentially damning evidence of corruption that could send the CM “to prison”.

Addressing the Indira Gandhi Gas Cylinder Subsidy Scheme event, Gehlot dismissed the existence of any such diary, calling it imaginary, and accused BJP of creating hype around it. He also questioned why the PM, with control over agencies like the ED, I-T department, and CBI, cannot obtain information about the alleged diary.
